The software is free in both options. The commission applies only to card payments running through a Cashm8 card terminal. The terminal hardware price and your acquirer’s own fees are agreed separately — they are not included.

How we make money

We say it plainly, because it is worth knowing before you pick a supplier. We charge nothing for the software. We earn a commission on the card payments that run through a Cashm8 card terminal (0.99 %).

If you bring your own card terminal, the payment does not run through us and we take no commission. The software is free in that case too. Your acquirer bills its own fees directly to you.

It means it is in our interest to keep the till fast and working: we earn only when you sell.

Why the prices are on the page

We reviewed seven competitors’ websites. Winpos, Restolution, Solteq and Nets publish no prices at all — everything ends in a quote request.
